Kanye west is properly one of the most influential artists of the past few years with his highly anticipated debut album 'The College Dropout'. Acclaimed aural architect Kanye West not only produces, writes and performs his own music and lyrics, but presents himself as a thoroughly well rounded artist with a purpose and musical vision all his own.
Originality From the first time I listened to the album it became clear that Kanye west was not your normal rapper, it became apparent that Kanye west album 'The College Dropout' is a testament to such free-thinking. Kanye west delivers a hole new side to hip-hop.
lyrics As with any hip-hop album there is always going to be a certain degree of swearing but Kanye west and the people at Roc-A-Fella Records have taught about this issue and have released a second version of the album which is a censored version. The lyrics in this cd show a hole new side to hip-hop and are a complement to Kanye west and Roc-A-Fella Records.
Competition Compared to the competition Kanye west blows them away with this album it shows a softer side to hip-hop which many people will think is a much better side I no I do.
Value for money As far as value for money goes you cant do much better than this this is possibly one of the best albums of the past decade in my opinion this is a must have.

How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Right my general area of expertise (CD reviews), heres a general formula-
No text speak
A bit on the artist (where they come from, general sound, influences/sound likes)
A lil bit on the album/albums history (debut album? follow up to a successful album? Album based on a single? Compilation? Best?)
Track list (with some info on each track if possible)
A bit of trvia perhaps
A summary
If you fulfill all them, and add what YOU feel about it then the review is imo a v.h. almost by default

not something I would normally listen to, I like the fact you have added your opinion as it makes the review much better. Try not to type in "text speak" as this isn't generally accepted here as for reviews if you spell check it first in word then you will get better ratings and earn more money. Good luck with your reviews, it's good to see new blood. Jen :o)
