Kanye West is probably one of the best rappers out there. He became really famous in 2004 after realeasing this album with roca-fella records in 2004. For once, someone has written a rap album with minimal uses of the phrases "I got lots of money" and "All the girls love me"! There are songs about dropping out of college (as the name of the album suggests), jesus and many appearences from other popular artists such as twista, Jamie Foxx, Ludacris, Jay Z and Talib Kweli. The album includes songs such as "Jesus Walks", "Slow Jams featuring Twista and Jamie foxx" and "Through the Wire". It was easily one of the best albums of 2004 and lead the way to his newest album "Late Registration" My marks out of 10; 10
