Advantages: Very easy to listen to, relaxing (for some) Disadvantages: not good for first time in flames listener
In Flames has altered their sound over the many albums that tehy have released. The music itself in this album has a melodic sound to it that makes it easy to listen to it. The vocals to this album are guttural so if your not a fan of the screaming then this is probably not the ablum for you. This in my opinion is not the best album to buy if you are new to the band as some of the tracks may take a while to get used. This does depend on what other ... ...played live on "the tokyo showdown" live album and again on the "used and abused...in live we trust" DVD.
However i like this album but i feel that some of the tracks feel like the band is still trying to find the right sound for the band. Becuase of this i rate good becuase i like the music and i am a fan of the band but if this is going to be your first inflames album i would not buy it. Buy one of hte live albums. ...
