This Album came out in 1997 when the foo fighters with Dave Grohl vocals. It has 13 classic rock songs on.

Doll starts it off lasting for 1.23 mins. This is a great song! I first bought this expecting rock music and wow that's what i got. This song is slow but is a great starter for the rest! The song is two verses repeated but the way the foo fighter rock it up is perfect. with a slow tempo and Grohls voice it reminds me of one of the past Nirvana songs.

Then we have Monkey wrench; with a good tune and a great beat it is one of the best songs in this CD. This songs last for 3.51 mins and really gets into your head. This song seems to be all about Grohls life about pressure and relationships.This song has some great drum beats rather like when Grohl went to Queen of the Stone Age and made a song called No One Knows that also has a great drum solo in there. It really contributes to the album for rocking out songs!

Number Three is Hey, Johnny park lasting 4.08 mins This has also a good tempo and lyrics. I really enjoy listening to this song and getting a kick out of the tune. This song is about also a relationship maybe a dying relationship but to be honest the tune just stays in your head so the lyrics dont even mean anything when that happens.

Going on to number which my poor brain i have to say is a good song about someone bottling up all this anger and letting it blow at the last minute. This is interperated in the music as there is loud and quiet parts of the song. I really get an advantage in mood from this song as i feel i bottle things but this song shows me that i can deal with what i come up to.

Then wind up which is obviously about Grohl being wound up and about people not seeing him get agry about issues in life. This song is great you have a little bit of screaching in it but it is fantastic to listen to.

Number six is Up in Arms which is a delightful song to listen to it starts of slow then gradually goes faster within the song. Its about a breakup that someone must regret and cant forget about.

Next is My Hero lasting 4.19 mins. Where the artist is talking about hero's and how ordinary people can be hereos in everyday circumstances. It has a great rhythm and when listening to this album for the first time this was the first song that stuck in my head.

This song is jolly to be honest! It sounds terrific!!! It is slow but is one of the best ive heard from the foo's.

Enough space is excellent! Its about when someone finds something and that this person makes this object, person etc great and then the finder never has enough space to see for him/her self. This song is about three lines long and is repeated but everytime you hear the lyrics they come out at a different pitch, tempo etc.

February Stars- this was the song that least stuck in my mind and i didn't enjoy it very much when i listened to it the first few times but having the CD really let me listen to it and i then started to enjoy it every time i heard the single.

Number eleven is Ever long and this is best song i have ever heard i listen to it everyday. I watch the video of it constantly. There is just something about it that makes me love it . It could be the lyrics, the music or just the band themselves but i really recommend this song to anyone.

Then we have Walking after you, this is a 5 min long song. It sounds like a dream at the start. It starts out slow but then gradually gets abit;not much, faster. It is about someone walking out on there freind or lover and that the person being walked out on would try everything they could to get them back and stabilise there relationship.

Last we have New Way Home, i good song to end on i think. Big tempo good tune and good lyrics.

In the inlay the colours are not great but they are good enough to suit a rock album. I found some of the writing inside was hard to read. I liked the pictures of the band on the podiums and the colour of the CD. Bright red suits the Foo Fighters. Foo Fighters are for Lovers as they say!

All together i really enjoyed this album which i think was a excellent second album from the foo fighters and i hope that this review has somehow helped you to make your mind up.
