Advantages: Very easy to use Disadvantages: None so far
Nicky Clarke Caramel Colour System with honey and beeswax. Lasts for 15 - 20 washes. So far I have only washed my hair twice since application.
I have mid brown hair and chose caramel because I wanted to try and blend in the dreaded grey hairs. It says on the pack not to be used if your hair is more that 50% grey.
My hair is 'salt and pepper' grey, and nothing has managed to cover it previously. This colour has managed to tinted it so it isn't so obvious but it is still highlighted (not a solid colour but that probably looks more natural anyway). I wanted grey cover without having to resort to permanent colour where I would need to keep 'doing my roots'.
I have used other non permanent hair colours but this is the only one that has tinted the grey.
I was surprised with the lack of information on the box with regard ...
Advantages: Colours are very rich, gentle as well Disadvantages: Not enough, in the pack, Rubbish Gloves
*In the beginning...........
I had been trawling around Newark for the day when there was a big sale on at Boots* Now I saw out of the corner of my eye the ^Goodie Bin^ so I went to investigate, there were a couple of colours there Garnier,L'Oreal and then Nicky Clarke. I had never used his colours before so I decided to buy it so when the time came to use it I could.
Now Boots normally stock this colour at £7.99 but I was very lucky and got it for a mere .99p! So if you want a bargain go to the bin!!
I got the colour which was called chilli, a rich brown red colour for brunnettes. SORTED!
The packaging is very small but perfectly formed, bright blue opaque plastic box with a really clear shade swatch on the front with easy to read text over the top. By The Way This colour is a SEMI-PERMANENT.
+It comes in many different shades ...
Advantages: Easy application, nice warm colour Disadvantages: None that I can find yet!
What am I reviewing?
Nicky Clarke Truffle colouredcolour system with honey and beeswax. This is a wash in colour, which will wash out in 15 - 20 washes.
I bought this colour a few weeks ago from Boots, it was £7.00 which is more than the ones I have used before but I was feeling like a treat and not knowing what to buy decided to give myself a lift with a hair colour.
So, why did I choose this one?
Well, it took me ages to choose, I looked at the ones I had used before, then my husband got fed up with wandering around along so came to help me. Of course he picked a couple that were totally different to my natural colour and even a permanent one. I had a pack of my usual colour at home but wanted something a bit different.
I put a wash in wash out colour through my hair a couple of times a year which gives it a lift ...
