Colour of the trap is miles kane's first solo album, and what a debut. After hearing his work with friend and arctic monkeys frontman Alex Turner in the last shadow puppets i was keen on him, but didn't think he had it in him to work alone, how wrong was i. Kane has had turner working on certain songs on the album and even noel gallagher features with some vocals. Recorded in London and San Fransico with legendary producer 'Dan The Automator', who had also produced with kasabain and Gorillaz.
