Advantages: A Classic Album Disadvantages: She can make you feel inadequate girls...
Just what is it about Shania Twain? Ok, so she’s beautiful, breathtakingly beautiful. She has a classic face – oh, and a figure to make any woman reach for the Slim Fast. Watching her display her flat, brown belly in faded blue jeans is enough to make us mere mortals weep. Even though she has just presented her hubby (Record Producer Mutt Lange) with a baby, you can bet she will be back in those blue jeans before Twain junior is sleeping ... ...times in her life. Her parents were killed in a car crash when she was 21 and Shania raised her three younger siblings. Even so, I’ll bet her PR people were thrilled with such an emotive story….
Best of all, this gal can really sing. She has tipped Country Music on its’ head and not everyone has been thrilled. The high-ups at Nashville like their women wigged and fringed and Shania’s penchant for baring her belly (remember, ...

Shania Twain's award winning album Come On Over is a classic with every track a hit (or worthy of being a hit) and is worth buying (only £9.99 at Sainsbury's) for the feel-good value of the album.
Although Shania is a country and western singer, a lot of her songs are mainstream so don't be concerned about ruining your street cred by listening to her! Shania appeals to the young, the old, men, women and all nationalities. Come On Over is her 3rd ... ...of the 16 tracks on Come On Over is That Don't Impress Me Much, a cheerful, easy to sing along to song that most of the country know that words to now (don't know what Brad Pitt makes of it though!). Other hits to dance to are I Feel Like A Woman and Don't be Stupid. Less well-known tracks that are really feel-good tunes are Rock This Country and Love Gets Me Every Time. They are tunes that really get your feet moving and like all Shania's songs ...

Come On Over (02:54)
A really upbeat ‘funky’ tune that has me smiling and singing along so the neighbourhood is afflicted by my voice!!!! Lol. It’s a song you play to your mates or lovers; it’s appropriate to say to anyone you’re close to! One of my personal favourites!

Whatever You Do! Don't (03:48)
She’s begging a guy not to turn her on, I think! It reminds me…no, private, never mind! I do have memories and feelings connected to this song but I can’t share them with Ciaoers just yet!

Amazing! Review ofCome On Over - Shania Twainby
becky_uk
Advantages: Disadvantages:
Before I decided to buy this album that was recommended to me by a friend, I absolutely hated any type of country and western music. But I have been turned around by this album and this amazing singer. Not only has she got an amazing voice, but she is lucky to be so attractive too! The album will last you ages and never seems to become boring! It is quite old now for modern day music, but this is worth buying still. But why is Shania Twain in the ...

Superb delivery Review ofCome On Over - Shania Twainby
sailormn
Advantages: Smooth delivery of songs with rythmn Disadvantages: Too few albums
I guess Shania Twain must be one of the most enduring artiste these days. With her stunning looks and smooth voice, no wonder she is one of the most popular singer around the globe. After listening to several songs on her "Come on over" CD, I very much loved to hear the pieces over and over again, esp. the "You're the Only", "That Don't Impress Me Much" and "Man I Feel Like A Woman" songs. However, the no. of albums she recorded is on the low side. ...

Advantages: Good music Disadvantages: Shania comparsons
...I bought my first Faith Hill album purley because it had This Kiss on it, which has to be one of the best songs ever made.
At time I had also just bought Come On Over by ShaniaTwain and I thought that Faith Hill's music was within the same vain of being able to bridge the country/pop boundry.
However although both Faith and Shania have the same ideas they are infact very different, where as Shania's excellent music is more poppy Faith has stayed true to her country routes whilst still becoming more modern.
My favourite song on Breath has to be The Way You love Me which is so bouncy and a great song to walk or run to as it's so bouncy.
Faith really diserved her CMA for best Female Artist and I feel her duiet with her husband Tim Mcgraw should have also taken and award.
With Faith, Shania and the Dixi Chicks country musice...

...Taken from the album by ShaniaTwain, Come on Over, this is one of the best songs, if not THE best, on the album. Similar to You've Got A Way it is a romantic song which (as far as I know) has not been released as a single but is still terrific on it's own. Personally I love this song. It has a great tune which is very, very catchy and really sticks in your head and leaves you singing it for the rest of the day! It is very romantic and sets a great mood, but is also good for easy listening. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone....

...***INTRO***
I bought my copy (CD) of ShaniaTwainCome On Over from Our Price Covent Garden in 2000, when CD's still had novelty value. It was the rather expensive £13.99. The issue was released on the international market on the 22/11/99. A pop/country mix of the original 1997 album. It was after catching her on TOTP with a feisty performance of "That Don't Impress Me Much".
