Nightmare! Here comes the beast again! Advantages: Metal, nostalgic, incredibly funny Disadvantages: Vulgar ...Comic Strip did their hilarious Bad News and More Bad News, came the Bad News album. A selection if spoof songs, all intentionally played badly, interspersed with dialogue of the band arguing, being interviewed, getting drunk and locking each other in the studio. Only the foulest of foul language is used throughout. Phonetic punctuation..! Advantages: Great comedy, fabulous pianist, Disadvantages: Recording quality... Victor Borge is one of the original musical comics from yester year, who remains (unfortunately) quite unknown by the younger population of the country. This CD is a recording from a performance Victor Borge participated in many years ago. Consequently, the quality is not the most fabulous in the world - it is an atmospheric recording. This is not a disadvantage however, in my opinion, as it enables the listener to hear not only Victor and the piano ... ...laughter, which I feel adds significantly to the cd! You can also pick out certain words from the audience, which is significant in a couple of tracks - for example "Variations on a theme", where the audience call out composer names. This cd would suit a few types of people. How much more black could this be? and the answer is none. Advantages: You can turn this one all the way up to 11. Disadvantages: Unfortunately this is not a real band. ...British heavy metal band released this collection of songs from the albums soundtrack as homage to the “Smell the Glove” album that they were promoting through the film. Don't Laugh At Me Cause I Am A Reviewer. Advantages: Buy this to listen to TWO great nostalgic songs. Disadvantages: There are 20 awful songs as well! ...And My Gal" is also very good. In between, most of the other songs are slow tempo dreary sounding ballads set to mediocre string arrangements or very forgettable massively dated sounding ditty ballads accompanied by big band brass based arrangements. There are also a few cringe worthy duets that are also totally forgettable and some other rubbish songs where the instrumentation is just light percussion and a double bass. Many of the songs on this ... ...the 1950s. He is an iconic figure to this day in Albania.
