This is the critically acclaimed album from feeder. It is there 4th studio album after there platinum selling album "echo park".
This album takes a whole new turn in the Feeder saga. Echo Park was a fun and upbeat album. Which includes hits such as "Buck Rogers" and "Seven Days in the Sun". This album mourns and is constantly searching for the meaning of life.
In January 2002, Drummer, Jon Lee committed suicide. Although Grant Nicholas (Lead singer and song writer) had already begun work on the album there is still a sense that the album was wrote purely for his best friend. Its is certainly produced to give this feeling.
Track listing: Just the way I'm feeling: Absolutely classic feeder. A massive tune, with guitars and strings. Everyone I know loves this song 10/10
Come Back Around: One of the rockier songs on the album and the first single. Many Feeder fans favorite song. 9/10
Helium: Distorted vocals and much darker. 8/10
Child in You: Quiet, slow, reflective 9/10
Comfort In sound: The title track. This sound basically sums up the whole album as well. Heavy and quiet. Brings out the mourning of the drummer. 10/10
Forget About Tomorrow: Best song on the album. Amazing lyrics and Grants favorite feeder song. 10/10
Summer's gone: A lovely melodic song. 8/10
Godzilla: A sudden burst of heavy guitars and screamed lyrics 6/10
Quick Fade: Similar to Summers Gone and is my favorite song to reflect on life. 9/10
Find the Colour: More energetic and acoustic. This song brings the album into a sense that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Released as a 4th single 10/10
Love Pollution: Lovely tune and lyrics. One of my favorite on the album. 10/10
Moonshine: Nice slow song, that ends the album on a melancholy note.
Overall this album is 10/10. It doesn't change mood but doesn't bore you either. This album is in my top 5. Brilliant, catchy, and possibly some of the best lyrics written. BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!
