Advantages: Jamie Bell, visually stunning, interesting idea Disadvantages: Hayden Christensen, boring, drags out a bit
This film is based primarily around David Rice, played by Hayden Christensen. As a teenager David discovers he has a strange power - he can jump from place to place, essentially teleporting himself to different locations. He begins by using this power to rob banks, using the money to get himself a luxury apartment.
Unfortunatley for David, religious Roland (Samuel L Jackson) knows about the jumpers and hates them, believing that only God should have the power to move like they do. He considers it to be his job to kill all of them, and begins to track them down with the help of his group, the Paladins. David is not remotely discreet with his jumping, sometimes jumping right in front of people, and so it does not take very long before people start to notice. Advantages: Jamie bell atleast gave me a few laughs along the way Disadvantages: Hayden Christensen was it me or did he mumble most of his lines ?
Jumper the idea that around us are people capable of teleporting at will to any place on earth imagine the trouble you would cause with that power, as would anyone lucky enough.
The film held the first position in its opening weekend with $27.3 million, the negative reviews remained a constant problem for the film. However personally they would be something I would agree with, however I would not give it as low as some people would. I just felt the story never flowed properly and developed in the action film I personally believed it could be.
STORYLINE

Advantages: Teleporting is fun, good graphics, good sound Disadvantages: Too easy, too short, no bonuses, combat system too easy to use.
A pretty good but far too short game where you get to play as Griffin (the character from the movie who could actually fight) and use the power of a jumper to do battle with the paladins.
TRUTH TO MOVIE
Very little, this game does not follow the plot of the movie and you do not play as the main character from the movie. But lets face it, the main character in the movie (David) wasn't much of a fighter so the movie's plot wouldn't have made much of a game.

COMBAT SYSTEM
Now the combat system looks cool, your character mixes in jumping (teleportation) with mele techniques to create a good fighting style. The problem with controlling it though is that it is far too easy to use and therefore not much fun, with the exception of the occasional special move, you just sit there pressing one button and watch as your character ...
