If you love upbeat music with catchy lyrics that are always stuck in your head, grab "Commit This to Memory" by Motion City Soundtrack. Every song is incredible, and will get you feeling the need to dance.
Attractive Today: Great way to start off the CD, definately a catchy song that is always stuck in my head. Although short at only 1 minute, 42 seconds long, it's awesome.
Everything Is Alright: The first single off of the album, extremely catchy, and will make you want to dance.
When You're Around: A song that probably everyone can relate to. You know, when you have someone in your life that just annoys you, and all you can do is grin and bear it. Another catchy tune.
Resolution: Kind of a mix between a slow and fast paced song. It's nice, the beat is good.
Feel Like Rain: The nice drum beat with guitars and lyrics will keep your head bobbing as you listen. It has a nice message also.
Make Out Kids: Another catchy song, with a great beat and good lyrics. Justin's voice sounds incredible.
Time Turned Fragile: One of my favorite songs on the CD. It starts off as a fast song, but towards the end gets slower, and more mellow.
LGFUAD: Another favorite for me. The real song name is "Lets Get Fucked Up and Die." But that doesn't mean that it's a terrible song, or about bad topics. It's genius in my opinion, another great beat, definately a foot-tapper if that's your style.
Better Open the Door: Another upbeat song, I absolutely love it.
Together We'll Ring in the New Year: A slower song, it proves that MCS can do both upbeat, fast songs, and slower ones. The lyrics are great, with a good meaning.
Hangman: Probably my least favorite song on the CD. The beat kind of takes over the lyrics, but it's still good. I don't think it really compares to the other songs on the album.
Hold Me Down: My absolute favorite song on the CD. The lyrics are amazing, another example that MCS can do fast and slower songs. This one is catchy, on the slower side, and has an amazing beat. Always, always in my head.
I think that this CD is genius, it will probably get you hooked half way through, if not by the 1st song. Definately one of my favorite CDs of all times.
