...I agree Northern Exposure 1 and 2 should be way all mix albums are made. I'm a big fan of sasha and also have recommended mix albums by sasha in the form of 'RENAISSANCE 1' 'EXPEDITIONS' 'COMMUNICATE' these are timeless classics. If you need to hear good music for driving or simply to listen in the comfort of your own home, these are to be tracked down and captured. RENAISSANCE produced 4 volumes. 1. Sasha/John Digweed 2. John Digweed 3. Fathers of Sound 4. Ian Ossia and somebody who i cant remenber - lol. Each volume was a stylish box of 3 mix cds. These are very hard to find now and recently i sold all 4 for over $300 on ebay. So if you find any, hang onto them. EXPEDITIONS was the follow up to NORTHERN EXPOSURE and joined Sasha and John Digweed together again for a 2cd set. Again in the same vain as NORTHERN EXPOSURE, this too is... Read review

...Just another mix from sasha and diggers? well no this one is a bit different taking on a much darker harder sound than the northern exposure cd's. cd one starts of with a couple of average tracks then it really kicks in with some great slacker mixes and a stand out track from saints and sinners. cd two starts where one stops then getting even harder before giving up a bit at the end with a couple of poor tracks, but overall this is a really great update on the sasha/digweed sound, not unlike seb fontain's recent mixes. great stuff.... ...The Northern Exposure series is not new but is a classic series which you'll be able to play over and over again. Brought to you by the Gods of trance/progressive house, Sasha and John Digweed, Northern exposure is a smooth mixes of thought provoking choons and weird samples which work well, especially after a long night out clubbing (chills you out), or just as easy background music - I love it when I'm driving (It helps calm my road rage!). All of the albums start out with freaky samples but slide into cool mixes. Any dance lover worth their stuff will have at least one of these albums among their collection.... Read review
