...When Shania first arrived in Nashville she ran into alot of problems. First of all, Shania is a writer and her record company wouldn't let her write her own songs, second of all, Shania appeared to be to opinionated for Nashvilles taste. Shania truly thought she'd never make it, until she met 'Mutt' Lange, legendary producer of great acts such as Bryan Adams and AC/DC. When Shania and 'Mutt' met all the pieces finally formed and she was saved.
The Woman In Me is the first album Twain and Lange wrote together, and is the album that they fell in love making.
This is Shania's second album, her debut was a Nashville record but this one, Shania says, is all her. Shania has put her heart and soul into this record, and it shows.
Unlike Shania's later albums, The Woman In Me consists mainly of ballads.
