Advantages: A compact CD with excellent repertoire
Disadvantages: May not be know to the younger generation

...A Classic old time favourite by Ella Fitzgerald with excellent vocals and the timbre unique to Ella herself; optimum recording exceeds some modern Jazz in tonality and expression. Ella Fitzgerald provides good enjoyable listening and a splendid addition to previous volumes - a veritable Jazz experience, well recommended. As an old classic released in 2005 this Ella Fitzgerald Vol. 4 is not new on the market but still provides enjoyable background music - why not propose on occasions such as family celebrations or some super wedding anniversary? Ella Fitzgerald generates loving memories and moving old-time novelties for the younger generation. As for the collectionists or jazz music afficionados I would say this CD of Classic Jazz Vocals would be a special addition ensuring some long moments of listening to good music with a good... Advantages: Best seller, great tracks
Disadvantages: only includes their earlier stuff

...This is the best-selling album of all-time. It is a collection of songs from the early career of 'The Eagles'. All of the tracks are great. This is completely different music than that which the band would later make famous on Hotel California, but equally as good. There are several country-styled rockers 'Take It Easy', 'Lyin' Eyes', 'Peaceful Easy Feeling', etc, that the early Eagles records did so well. However, there are several differently styled songs as well. 'Desperado' and 'Best of My Love' are two great ballads, while 'Witchy Woman' and 'One of These Nights' are forays into different styles of music. All of them are great, however. The Eagles are undoubtedly one of the best and most successful band in rock 'n' roll history, and this disc is a perfect retrospective of their early years. Unless you absolutely hate... Read review

Advantages: Excellent track listing, Perfect production
Disadvantages: Too commercialised, hixxys unmixed cd isnt full tunes

...When i heard about clubland releasing a hardcore compilation i felt a bit sceptical, thinking its just going to be remixes of previous clubland dance tracks, however i was completely wrong. I bought this on the day it was out and am still blasting it out of my speakers now. There are 3 cd's to this compilation. 1 mixed by darren styles, 1 mixed by breeze and 1 unmixed (even though the tracks arent full) bonus hixxy cd. All 3 cd's contain many mainly tracks mainly from "raver baby" record label and some of the most outstanding uk hardcore tracks to date. The disapointment with this compilation was with hixxy's cd. Before it was out i heard his cd was going to be unmixed so i anticipated full tracks. However, although none of the tracks are mixed, they are all cut so before the track ends the next track comes in. Overall... Read review
