Advantages: Some of the best tracks, ever!
Disadvantages: Short version of I Am The Resurrection

This is one of the best compilation albums anyone could wish to buy. 21 tracks of pure musical heaven. The original Manc Monkey Ian Brown, John Squire, Reni and Mani, are one of the greatest bands of all time in my opinion, and it's a shame that they finished in the way that they did, especially with Squire falling out with Brown. The first 2 tracks, So Young and Tell Me, are the Roses early stuff. Not their best, but by no means bad songs. Sally ...
...guitar, before Brown's quietened vocals kick in. Next up are Here It Comes and All Across The Sands, again good tracks but not their best. Track number 6 is arguably one of the Stone Roses best numbers, the superb Elephant Stone. Reni on the drums is absolutely excellent, with the beat being carried through the track. Disadvantages: Some tracks have been cut in length so that they fit on the album

The Stone Roses are, for some, second only to the Beatles in terms of greatness. Although Ian Brown is, admittedly, no John Lennon, consider that all the songs on this album are taken from the Roses' first album, and from the singles which were released at around the same time. Compare this to the Beatles' first album and singles, and I think you'll find that the forementioned statement is very possibly true. Indeed, if the Stone Roses had not made ...

As it says complete, and it as near as dam it is. The band that started the i alternative seen as we no it influencing most of the bands that are about today, notably oasis. Okay so Ian Browns voice isn't that great but it adds to the album more than detrct from it it gives it more of a vibe. There is a lot of soul in this record on John Squires guitar work is excellent. Right, this is my first go at this... so i wish myself well.... I was born in 1986 so I was unable appreciate the wonders of this inspirational band when they were still making music.
