I’ve liked usher for ages and when I got his album I was over the moon!
Intro-The intro isn’t much, just a short song to introduce the album (confessions) about the album.
Yeah feat lil john and ludicrous- This song is up beat and it’s a good song to dance and sing to! It’s all about being in a club and dancing with some girls and they’re trying to turn it into more of a one night stand!
Throwback- In the song it doesn’t actually say anything about ‘throwback’ but who said it does. This song is good but not as good as the others! It’s about getting thrown back by a girl and never knowing what you’ve got until you’ve lost it. He ends up being heartbroken and regretting taking his girl for granted
Confessions- This song doesn’t sound like ‘confessions’ (but I haven’t heard it for ages as I’m always listening to his other songs). This is about confessing to his girl that he was sleeping with someone else and lying to her about
it!
Confessions part 2 - I’m for ever dancing and singing to this song as its one my favorites! I must tell you that whatever he says in his songs aren’t true; although they based on something else (he just exaggerates)! it's all about him confessing about his girl on the side has become pregnant with his baby and he’s regretting everything and he’s found out that he’s now definitely lost his girl for good.
Burn- This is another of my fave usher songs, it may not sound good at the start but that doesn’t matter the rest is awesome!! It’s about him loving this girl but he knows that in his heart that it has come to an end and so he has to let go no matter how much it hurts!
Caught up- My best mate lurves this song she has to have my CD player when it’s at school, so if you like fast up beat songs then that’s the one for you! This one is about being lost in his own world and taking no notice of anything around him until one day, this one girl changes the way he thinks and acts
Superstar and superstar interlude- These aren’t the best songs (especially interlude) I don’t know why its there but you could just skip it like I do! The interlude is an introduction which goes out to the girl of his dreams then it goes straight into the main song which is about a girl and nothing else matters because she is his number one and he’d drop everything for her.
Truth hurts-this is about being told something that really, you don’t want to know but you’ve got to be told, otherwise it’s being dishonest. It’s about his girlfriend cheating on him, and to be honest, she told him and now he’s hurting inside. It’s really good in my opinion!
Simple things-this song is kind of slow moving but very relaxing! It’s about usher saying that money doesn’t buy you everything in life like love and that some people only like money and fame and will do anything to get it.
Bad girl- this song reminds me of an anthem it makes me want to move! He is saying that when he’s in a club, he wants a bad girl to dance with him.
That’s what it’s made for- This is an easy song to sing to and it quite relaxing! It’s about him about to have sex with this girl and she’s worrying about protection and obviously trying to get out of having it.
Can u handle it? - This song is fun but sounds a bit strange at the beginning! It’s about them taking their relationship to the next level and asking her can she handle it!
Do it to me- Again this is a slow moving relaxing song!!!! This song is saying that he wants her to remember this romantic night he’s planned for her for ever.
Take your hand- this song has a crackle in the background but that’s normal and it’s a dancing song and he’s confused about what to do because he wants to take her hand but he’s not sure that she wants to hold her hand.
Follow me he is saying that he can be himself around this girl and is wondering if she feels the same way about him. This is the one which sounds like a play station at the start but it’s really good!
My boo feat Alicia keys is about two people that were basically high school sweethearts and they have realized when they next saw each other that they belong together. I’m thinking of doing this at a show because it’s so good!
Red light is up beat but slow and there’s a bit of spooky music in the background and the lyrics are about him supposed to have been a one night stand but he wants it to be something more.
Seduction- It’s very relax but makes you want to move your head because the lyrics are all about him wanting a girl to send him a message or anything because he wants to be seduced by this girl.
Confessions part 2 remix and this is as good as the original but more up beat! And it’s exactly the same as the first confessions part 2.
