Connected (90's 12" Mixes) - Various Artists

Advantages: Good value for money, great first disc, brilliant tracks.
Disadvantages: Some undeserving hits have been given a place on this album.

...of some of the greatest chart hits in the 1990's, both romantic and dance hits, with such love songs as 'Nothing Compares 2 U' by Sinead O'Connor, and 'Can't Help Falling In Love With You' by UB40, and such dance songs as 'Tubthumping' by Chumbawumba, and ' The Power' by Snap. All four of the songs are still constantly played in nightclubs and on the radio. Thank goodness the songs have stayed popular and not dissappeared with Furbys and Tamagotchis! Disadvantages: The C.D is brilliant, although I must admit, some of the songs don't deserve to be on the album, and I feel that other songs have made a more lasting impression. For example, 'Sweet Like Chocolate' by Shanks & Bigfoot should have been replaced by a Take That song, or possibly East 17s' 'Stay Another Day', as these bands are still recognised quite a bit, and have had more... ...there have been further CD’s such as Kelly Llorenna – all clubbed up, which is another fantastic album and also Clubland Summer 2003 as a few examples. In total there are now eleven different CD’s to choose from in this range. Some of the tunes on CD are remixed cheesy chart songs, as you will notice from their titles, however with a bit of spinning and sound effects they are masterpieces! Advantages: Excellent less know dance tracks and some old classics
Disadvantages: Non stop mix gets messed up on my iPod

...non stop perfection. Also the 'Axwell' mix of 'Hard-fi's hard to beat is the best mixtutre of indy/dance i may have every heard. Of my personal opinion this is the best disk out of the three and is on repeat in my house at the moment. Disc 2 'Twisted Disco' is more bass less vocals the is more hardcore on the floor music for the early our parties. This disk represents more music in the club , than disk 1 which to me sounds more on the beach (ibiza preferably). My personal favourite is the 'F*** me im famous remix' of the 'Juliet' track 'Avalon'. This have enough vocal with a great backing beat. Disc 3 is appropriatly named 'back to love' and features dance tracks that became major influences in the clubs most tracks are from the 90's.
