...I first discovered Soulfly when they featured at an "Ozzfest" gig. I never heard of them but really enjoyed them on stage and bought this album, unaware that it was their second release! #History Soulfly originally started when Max Cavalera left "Sepultura" in 1996. Full of hate and hurt following the death of his step-son and his close friend Dana Wells, Max's songs portray all forms of hate towards government, society and turns to many faiths to help him. ...This alum defines killswitch engage. It includes all the musical and lyrical talent of the band with an extra kick of metal. This album includes the hits \'the arms of sorrow\' and \'my curse\' to name a few. When i purchased this i thought it couldn't top the bands last album however i was very wrong. The album took me to a place of clam amongst all the musical chaos. I listen to this at least twice a week and i never get bored of it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something different, catchy and heavy. The culmination of talent in the band shines through on this album. The dvd is indeed a \'bonus\' as it stimulates sight and sound unlike a cd. I can\'t describe how amazing this special edition is but i would recommend this for anyone looking for a real musical treat.... Read review

..... Written by Noel, it does what it says on the tin, brings home the ending to the album rather beautifully..... Lighters out for this one...... With the Dvd Edition that gives you the exclusive interviews with the band and producers, plus the added bonus of the Lyla video.... an amazing xtra product of info for any keen Oasis fan of pure genuine Rock n Roll.... Easily up there as one of the best alongside Definitely Maybe, Whats the Story? and Heathen Chemistry.... Rock n Roll will never die with these boys around.. Live Forever.....................
