Advantages: Energy, impassioned lyrics. Disadvantages: I guess there's a track or two which aren't as good as the others.
...If you are only going to buy one Iron Maiden Album, make it this one. It's got everything you could ask for; pounding bass lines, galloping drum beats, ear piercing gitar riffs, satanic lyrics and - above all- collosal energy. The vocals seem to have been inspired by issues that perhaps only the rage of heavy metal can do honest justice; the fear of execution, escape from the Powers That Be, flight from murderous barbarian hordes, the terrorism of European settlers on native American Indians, and - of course - satanic orgies. While Iron Maiden may lack the instumental skills and innovation of Black Sabbath, they adequately compensate in sheer energy and rock....

Advantages: Highly mellow, reflective tunes to chill out to. Disadvantages: Not an album to use as a party soundtrack!
...A relaxed and supremely enjoyable listening experience! Contains all the releases- Somewhere Only We Know, Bedshaped and Everybody's Changing, but my personal favourite, with it's sad, earnest lyrics, is 'We Might As Well be Strangers', however in my opinion you could skip past the dreary 'She Has No Time'! I bought this album while in gatwick waiting for a flight last year as I'd forgotten to bring any Cd's for my personal Cd player, so all the way to spain had only this album for company and have to say, I think it was a solid choice! It's just perfect for listening to alone and being thoughtful! It's not an album for partying, but that's not what you'd really expect anyway! It is, I think, lyrically quite a melancholy little album, but I love it nonetheless and it is now a regular player on my new mini ipod and firmly stacked...

...you have managed to escape known patterns, solid expression of fluid conditions is almost impossible. And M.K. was struggling to reach that point right from the first flight of his instrumental spaceship ... With no fears in the mind... Just a perpetual transmission of deeper telepathic sounds capturing the warmest fantasies of a Human who already transported soul and body to the Next Level....
