Advantages: Easy-read, keeps your interest
Disadvantages: Characters a bit too fairy-tale (review will explain), goes for quantity, not quality, disappointing ending

Having spent an unjustified number of months on the last novel, I was looking for a book I would get through a little quicker this time! I now feel the need to take a book with me wherever I go, and hence I did not waste too much time fussing over what to go for, but went for this book (one I had bought as part of a box series) because I thought the cover looked nice. Yes, I did judge a book by its cover. The Story As with some of the authors I previously read, like Quintin Jardine and Steve Martini, James Patterson has written Roses are Red as part of a detective series. The detective here is called Alex Cross, a true family man with an ongoing personal struggle against the villain of all villains. Rose Red are you Dead

Advantages: A Stephen King movie, brilliant, scary
Disadvantages: very long

the proof she needs. She enlists the help of six psychic which various talents to achieve the results. Matt Keeslar - Steve Rimbauler - he is the last in the Rimbauler line. He has bad childhood memories of Rose Red and hence is quite reluctant to go back there, but his girlfriend is the Professor so he goes along for the ride. He has telepathic skills and his childhood memories do come in useful, but enough said. He is there to protect the family interest as he owns Rose Red and this is to be the last visit before it is pulled down to make way for condominiums. Kimberley J.
