Countyourblessing explores originality in the terms of hardcore music. The CD is 10 tracks long and mixes brutal screaming with fast guitar riffs. The showmanship of the lead singer "Oliver Sykes" makes the band stand out from any other, just the effort that becomes apparent every time i listen to there music is immense. Personally i could listen to this CD over and over again and i would generally advise it to anybody who likes hardcore music to buy it. Countyourblessings features sick lyrics and breakdowns written to get you in the mood to mosh. i rate this CD 9.5 out of 10.

'Ten Thousand Sorrows' is sure to bring tears to your eyes. I have never read anything quite as explicit as this story, of a child born out of wedlock to a Korean peasant girl and an American GI. The subsequent suffering she encountered and experienced at such a young age would have the hardest of people crying.
The prologue indicates that to this day the author does not know how old she is; she has no idea what age she was when her mother was murdered; there is no record of her mother's short life; and there is no certificate to record her mother's death, which having occurred at the hands of family members was regarded as an 'honour killing.'
The author, Elizabeth Kim, spent her early childhood years living as a social outcast in a rural Korean village. Living like lepers they were ostracised by family and neighbours ...

The Academy of Ancient Music plays using the orignal instruments giving a great insight into how Haydn himself intended the opera. Always a bonus!!!!!
Haydn's music is lyrical and memorable. The sort of music you will hum for days afterwards.
The opera contains a good mix of recitatives, duets and choruses. My particular favorite is the duet between Orpheus and Eurodice , you can listen to both voices for hours. The closing chorus is so emotional fading to nothing as Orpheus is carried away (one of those moments when opera can actually bring a tear to your eye).
I realise Opera is not everyone's taste but everyone should experience it at least once. ...
