...Music was very hit & miss during the 1990's, I must admit I didn't care for very much released during the decade but occasionally got caught up in the hype of a few songs now and then. Primarily for me I spent the 1990's protecting the free world (6 years in the RAF) as well as listening to 80's music although enjoyed some of the electronica offered by the rave & acid scene at the time. This album is a collection of 39 tracks all of which were in the UK charts above the top 5 position. Its 2 cds (with 20 tracks on CD1 & 19 tracks on CD 2), all chart positions are UK Singles Chart positions. So whats on the album? Disc: 1 1. Discotheque - U2 (was #1, 1997) To be honest this wasn't one of U2's better songs but fan power got it to the #1 spot. 2. Advantages: A great album

...Say hello to The Gaslight Anthem. Dare I suggest the majority of you haven?t heard of them?? Well, some might know them simply as the band that got Bruce Springsteen to join them on stage during their performance at Glastonbury this year. Well, this is their album ?The ?59 Sound?. Released in 2008 on SideOneDummy Records, it?s a twelve-track album which instantly personifies the ?Americana? type of band. Big choruses, full of melodies and short instrumental interludes and breakdowns ? usually surrounding a glitzy guitar solo. The opening track, ?Great Expectations?, is just that. Big glorious choruses and verses that contain muted guitar riffs and snare-infected drum loops. The reference to Bruce Springsteen early is clear to see in their music ? it?s genuine rock music. ...Seaview Country Club Location: Seaview country Club is located 30 minutes from Ibiza Airport and about 3 miles from the lights of San Antonio. Puerto De Torrent is a small area of which the main drag is about ¾ of a mile long with plenty of bars and shops on both sides of the main road which takes you to San Antonio. Ibiza is seeing an overall of the main roads at the moment and there are lots of diversions to and from San Antonio and Ibiza Town so take care driving or use the public bus service which is very good and cheap to use. Hotel Seaview Country Club: First impression is always a good sign and on entering the main reception you are greeted with a lovely marble reception area which is very clean and air conditioned.
