Ronan Keating Review of10 Years Of Hits - Ronan Keatingby

Advantages: Some catchy tunes thats easy on the ears! Disadvantages: It's been done before... and better!
...I can't believe it has been ten years, and admittedly since leaving boyzone he has come a long way. He has found his preffered musical styling in covers of country ballads, like when you say nothing at all (not sure who sang the original but was covered by Union Station) the long goodbye (Brooks and Dunn) if tomorrow never comes (Garth Brooks) we've got tonight (KennyRogers) she believes in me (also our Kenny) and now the beautiful I hope you dance (leanne womack). At least he's covering some decent stuff and not ruining it for us. I would like to see Mr Keating doing some of his own stuff as he's not all that bad at writing songs and could possibly help himself teaming up with some other noteworthy artists as he did recently with the beautiful Leann Rimes....

WYCLEF JEAN WHY NOT Review ofEcleftic, The (2 Sides 2 A Book) [ECD] - Wyclef Jeanby

With so many artists bringing out CDs with ten tracks (if you’re lucky) or fewer, Ecleftic offers nineteen tracks and a diverse variation of musical forms and cultures.
As a self confessed hip-hop artist, Jean blends this style and his Haitian roots with a host of different styles to produce a stunning and very listenable CD.

After a brief intro the former front man of the Fugees kicks off the CD in earnest with his request for the band to get back together, titled “WHERE...

Advantages: Loving crafted, genre transcending gem of an album Disadvantages: Don't be put off by it being "country".
...that will keep you listening and then you hit the catchy bit and all is fabulous. "Keep searching find the time".
7. Boston
"Don't want to listen to your cock and bull story." Do listen to this song though. More than halfway through the album and the standard hasn't dropped a notch.
8. Little Doggie
"Darlin' is this our redemption? Or could it be judgement day?" Another one to sway drunkenly to, with your tail waggin' slow.
9. Big Apple Stomp
Can't tell you anything coherent about this song. Why not? 'Coz I'm dancing round the room looking uncannily like a dyspraxic drunken goth trying to dance to a very up-tempo country tune. The words "epic fail" spring to mind about the dancing, the song is the opposite.
10. Nightsong
Now here's a question. Can country music be sexy? Dismiss all thought of KennyRogers, Dolly Parton and Billy Ray...
