Advantages: It may give you the confidence to do the exercise Disadvantages: Expensive gimmick, you don't need one to do the exercise intended
I feel I'm being a bit negative today in my reviews of fitness equipment, but this is another needless piece of equipment that somehow has managed to find its way into every gym and home in Britain.
Surely that means its doing its job well right? Well I fear its been marketed well as opposed to actually performing the task in hand as well as it says it does. My biggest problem here is the fact that the maker of the machine make outlandish comments about how you will end up with a washboard stomach etc etc etc Here's what they say......
The Weider Crunch Trainer has an ergonomic design which allows the correct and safest position for achieving washboard abs, allowing the user to perform the 'crunch', an essential exercise for toning the abdomen area. Its design positions the body to perform these exercises in a perfect manner ...
Advantages: A good mix of songs Disadvantages: Doesnt help you get through the housework
A cd thats a couple of years old now but still fun to listen to.
I mean this cd says its meant to help you through the housework but I personally dont think it really does,if anything it distracts you, because you just start singing along to all the great tracks this album has to offer, you get caught up in the music and completely lose track of what you were doing - maybe a good thing in a way :-)
Housework vol1 is a double album that has some cracking songs that you just dont seem to hear on the radio anymore such as The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda and Don McLeans - American Pie.

So just what is the creditcrunch?
A breakfast cereal or something for lunch?
It could be something far far worse
So lets put it all into verse.
Across TV screens grim financial figures fly
From Reuters, CNN, Bloomberg and Sky
Doom and gloom announced with a frown
As experts pontificate on financial meltdown
America's sneezed and we've all caught cold
High risk mortgages possibly mis-sold
So who do we blame at the end of the day?
Perhaps Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae
Loans agreed without brains engaged
It seemed anyone could have a mortgage
Their lending strategies weren't too slick
So much debt that's now turned toxic
The Wall Street malaise crossed the Atlantic
And round Threadneedle Street its gotten frantic
Dow Jones slipped and groaned and grumbled
So FTSE tripped and fell as share prices tumbled
Markets ...
On the limmited edition it has all the music videos on it as well! An excellent touch I think!
The cover is the only downside that I have found, it looks nice now but after time it's going to be a bit scruffy as it's made like a hard back book with no plastic covering. (*)
