Rosnay. Their approach to crazy-quilt dance-pop hybridism is infectious, if a tad off-putting here and there. The duo rose to fame due to an MP3 single and super smart video for the excellent, kiddy-chorused house-pop number "D.A.N.C.E." in 2007, and they soon thereafter signed to the suitably named label Banger. They manage to make really silly and fun music in a way that frequently comes off in a pretentious manner. It's ridiculous to name your album after a symbol, especially if it's . This is not meant derogatorily. Really. Justice does appear to be that rare breed of dance artist equally capable of stimulating the body and the mind, though neither Richard James nor Basement Jaxx need fear this act. After just one listen to "Waters of Nazareth," it's very difficult to avoid wondering "how the hell did they mix and match noise and pop so beautifully" while also dancing furiously.--Mike McGonigal

Advantages: good sound, effects and production. Good originality Disadvantages: Some parts could be better.
All-round a good album. Fantastic production and sound quality/layering. Repetitive for my liking in some places.

Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Auge are two French producers that make up Justice. The first I heard of Justice was when I saw the Justice video of 'We are your Friends' by Simian late in 2006 (although they had created the video back in 2005). Anyone interested in seeing the video can see it on youtube at:

Their debut album is called Cross (well its not got a name just the symbol of the Cross is on the front cover). As debut albums go, this is right up there with the best. Plenty of stand out tracks, plenty of depth, plenty of 'growers' and a myriad of influences throughoout the album. A lot of the music critics say their music is influenced by Daft Punk. I can see that, (or should I say hear that), however, it is not to difficult to hear influences from Michael Jackson, 70s disco, Pink Floyd ...

Advantages: A few bangers Disadvantages: He doesn't pay attention to rhyming on occasions
his position on top of the game, especially since he has work so hard to get to where he is after so much development in the Hot Boyz and with poor sales, and recetly he's just been able to build up so much hype with collaborations, because all the albums before this didn't sell as well as this is guaranteed to.
As I've expressed before, he does seem to get off with some strange rhymes and here he claims he should be put in the dictionary under the definition of 'definitition', but he doesn't elaborate on it, and you can't just say something like that without explaining it, because without justication, it means absolutely nothing.
