Every band has their iconic album, their 'Best Of' that they dream of making. Bon Jovi is a four piece band from New Jersey, and consists of Jon Bongiovi, Tico Torres, David Bryant, and Richie Sambora. They have enjoyed decades of rock success, incorporating different styles into their music, and setting the benchmark for other rock bands to reach. Their 'Best Of' album was released in 1994 by Polygram Records and is entitled 'Crossroad'.
It is a definitive album, and contains all the great Bon Jovi tracks up to the date of publication. These are the tracks:
1. Livin' On A Prayer 2. Keep The Faith 3. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night 4. Always 5. Wanted Dead Or Alive 6. Lay Your Hands On Me 7. You Give Love A Bad Name 8. Bed Of Roses 9. Blaze Of Glory 10. In These Arms 11. Bad Medicine 12. I'll Be There For You 13. In & Out Of Love 14. Runaway 15. Never Say Goodbye
As you can see, there are some true classics on here. Livin' On A Prayer and You Give Love A Bad Name will be two of the great Air Guitar tunes for many years to come, and ballads such as Bed Of Roses and the smash hit Always provide a romantic feel to the album. Those who are not die-hard Bon Jovi fans may not enjoy this, as their music is very similar from track to track, but I would imagine you wouldn't be buying this unless you were a fan....
This is one of my favourite albums of all time. I have always been a Bon Jovi fan, and while I may prefer to see a couple of different tracks on here, such as 'Stick To Your Guns', the ninth track from their album 'New Jersey', I am proud to have this in my collection. The music is typical of Bon Jovi.
