This is, quite simply, the best soundtrack I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. There is not a bad track on the album. In fact, I would have to say that there is not one song on the soundtrack that is not excellent in its own right, together they make for a formidable mixture which only makes brief visits to the CD rack before being restored to its rightful place in my CD player.
This is most definitely the CD that has been played most in my house this year. It offers such a heady mixture of sublime melancholy in songs such as Colorblind by Counting Crowns, blended with just the right amount of slightly more upbeat tracks that are still just as deep and atmospheric, such as Comin' Up From Behind by Marcy Playground.
I bought this soundtrack because I found when I watched the film that the music moved me more than the story, and as the film itself was extremely good this is something of an achievement. This soundtrack has introduced me to several bands that I have since come to love, and has spawned a whole new section in my CD collection of Placebo, Counting Crows, etc.
I don't think that I actually need to recommend this soundtrack to anybody. If you watch the film the music will speak for itself.
