After nearly 20 years in the business, and 15 at the top of the tree, you would think that Bon Jovi could produce a top notch album..and they have, again. The album has all the usual ingredients, a few huge ballads, a big anthem and a good mix of other tracks, but all distinctively Bon Jovi.
While it may be quite the same mould as 'Slippery When Wet' and 'New Jersey' the band have matured with their audience, rather than churning out the same old thing to stay successful.
And for anyone who was at Wembley in late August will agree with me that the songs stand up superbly live as well, even when they are compared directly with the likes of Wanted or Living on a Prayer....
