Advantages: A couple of strong Sade tracks,polished production
Disadvantages: a number of weak tracks and a tired feeling to it

...In 1988 Sade released her third studio album 'Stronger Than Pride' following the highly successful debut 'Diamond Life' and the less commercial 'Promise'. Always sultry and sensual this album is another cool and classy offering of jazz/pop. All the tracks are self penned with the band and 'Stronger Than Pride' has a strong exotic feel to it and definitely conjures up images of a long hot summer.However the album loses strength towards the end and runs out of steam. 'Love Is Stronger Than Pride' is the title track from the album and was an obvious single. Soft and lush it is a song based on rhythm and feel as opposed to sweeping instrumentation.Like most Sade songs she speaks of love and often of its demise.She sings 'I won't pretend that I intend to stop living.I won't pretend I'm good at forgiving but I can't hate you... Advantages: Quality of music and mix of classic and new songs
Disadvantages: It can be VERY loud when you put the volume up slightly

...I don't actully have this CD anymore which is a shame because i really enjoyed the music on it! The tracks are constant and there is only a very small pause between tracks but each track contains about 3 songs. There is alot of very old classics there which where very well done and a couple i had never heard before. The music quality is very good. ...personally thought that this chapter is best one out of the whole of this book. It covers subject area from confronting prejudice, because of people’s disabilities to the independent living movement. Also covered in this section of this book are the following subjects:- disabled peoples living movement, racism, sexism and heterosexism, the meaning of disability and also positive images. The only thing that was a bit disappointing, in this book was that no pictures in this book, but the content in this book soon made up for it. I would personally recommend this book to anyone that is studying disability as part of his or her course or people who just want an introduction to this subject.
