Advantages: contains hard to find hit singles Disadvantages: of its time
...If your old enough to remember Tomorrows World and its weekly glimpses into the future then this record could be considered a musical version of that great televisisual institution, song after song of futuristic promise and techno romance set against mysterious synthesisers and crashing drum machines, certainly a step up from beat boys in the jet age but not quite brand new world ,nevertheless it contained one of the finest pop songs ever written about a domestic appliance in "

Advantages: Very soulful and musical, some unknown tracks Disadvantages: Different from volume 1
...Plastyc Surgery volume 1 was a groundbreaking release. It was something like an essence of that unmatched Hospital Records style, the style that has shaken the scene like no other has done before. This release here is the same kind of essence. Yet the style of Hospital now is different.

The first CD is pretty short...

Advantages: This album is a highly experimental release: Ani plays around with many different styles to create a widely varied presentation of her abilities. Disadvantages: There are a couple of "weaker" tracks towards the end: They are softer than the rest. However, this DOES make for a good closure, so I can't complain.

Ani and crew return to create mystical, thought-provoking messages for loyal fans and new listeners alike, but it has changed. DiFranco is still Miss Political, and she proves that beyond the shadow of a doubt. However, her style has grown and expanded to several new, bright horizons - a very exciting and promising journey indeed!
"Little Plastic Castle" is easily one of my favorite Ani records. Released in 1998 on her very own Righteous Babe Records label, the album proudly boasts Ani...
