attracted almost as much attention as their curious resemblance to American folksters Simon and Garfunkel, demonstrate their skills on yet another instalment of Studio K7'sDJ Kicksseries. The mix highlights the best of European trip-hop, acid jazz, and drum and bass, with their own "High Noon" and "Black Baby" mixed with tracks from British trip-hoppers Herbalizer, German technicians Hardfloor, and Viennese weirdo Patrick Pulsinger, among others. Their straightforward mixing is complemented by a heavy dose of studio postproduction but the emphasis here is on track selection rather than technical trickery. Like their productions, thisDJ Kicksis classy, sophisticated, and surprising.--Matthew Corwine

First few tracks are as introduction to your music journey, taking you higher and higher and on track 3 you'll probably find yourself dancing:) These guys know how to generate atmosphere, how to make you close your eyes and just listen to their beat, how to make you rockin your head even if you are sitting at work with your headphones on (God, i don't know how would i work without headphones:)
If you're not into this kind of music, i recommend you tro try K&D, they can be a perfect start for you into acid jazz...or at least try Thievery Corporation or St. Germain though in my oppinion they are a bit too simple.
Anyway, i think this CD is superb, no matter that it's published in 1998 i think, this music doesn't get old, K&D will be popular in 2050 just as it is now, i don't have any doubts about it :)
