D12-D12 WORLD
April 26, 2004
Shady Records
Executive Producer: Eminem

Eminem, Bizarre, Kon Artis, Swift, Kuniva and Proof are D12 formed before Eminem was a successful rapper. D12 world is a follow up to the debut album ‘Devils Night’ and it comes with a special bonus disk. On this album the rest of d12 are trying to show how good they are and you cant deny that some of these rappers are not good, because they do have talent but all the time its Eminem who makes his mark. Each member has an equal share and Eminem is not 'hogging' and appears on only 11 tracks even though he produced almost all of them.
First of if you loved Devil's Night then you probably wont think this is as good as it but if you also like albums like 'get rich or die tryin' and 'cheers' you will like this. This is because this album is much more upto date and isn't as sick and twisted as devils night. Production wise this album I think is great, the beats are all very different and much more constructed unlike their first album where the beats were quite simple. There are many subject matters on this album and so it is kept varied, they talk about the death of a friend who was also a member of D12 before Eminem.

I think people that are a fan of d12 and similar rap artists will certainty get this album, its must get album for all fans. For people that aren’t really fans of d12, this album may not seem that interesting and there will probably only be a few tracks that you may like. This album has a mixture of different types of rap song which is great, they haven’t focused on any particular ‘beefs’ that they may have going on with anyone at the moment which also makes this album more interesting.
Most of the tracks are easy to listen to but why they had 2 cds with the second cd having only 2 songs I dont know.

Cd1
Git up(4.03)
A very fast and different beat, starts off with Eminem, a good chorus and a great song to start the album off with.

Loyalty (featuring Obie Trice) (5.54)
Each Artist has a verse, with Eminem on the intro/chorus. Kon Artis does the chorus in this song and his part is good. Proof is also another one that stands out on this song.

Just Like U (3.31)
A solo track for Bizarre. Bizarre basically talks about unusual things and throughout this song that’s what he does, he only has one type of rap so nobody will be suprised at all by what he talks about or by the speed of his raps. Slow rapping. Not really an enjoyable song.

I’ll Be Damned (4.21)
A fun track to listen to even the part with Bizarre because it fits in with the rest of the song. All of D12 have a great part in this song.

Dude (Skit) (1.14)
D12 talking which then leads up to the next song. Okay so most albums now have tracks like these so its nothing really special but it fits into what ‘My Band’ is all about. The only thing bad about this is that parts are really clear enough to hear what they are actually saying.

My Band (4.58)
The first song released of the album, a fun song to listen to which is very catchy with a great tune. This song is basically about what people see D12 as, they see Eminem as the main singer with the rest of D12 as his band. Eminem and the gang are just making fun of what everyone thinks. I think it is an appropriate single, got great lyrics, a good beat, and a funny video. This song is not serious, and that’s the point they are trying to get across

U R The One (4.19)
A bit of a slow rap song to listen, isn’t really that interesting.

6 In The Morning (4.13)
A great beat and all rappers play a great part in this song. Some clever lyrics by Eminem on this track too.

How Come (4.09)
A good song about Eminem’s relationship with Royce Da 5'9', the rapper he fell out with after Eminem hit the big time. Meaningful lyrics from Eminem

Leave That Boy Alone (5.23)
This started off interesting with the rap from Eminem, his part stood out the most but all rappers had a great part.
Good Chorus.
Good Beat.
Good Verses.

Get My Gun (4.34)
A very fun song to listen to with a catchy tune. Eminem stands out as usual, but all rappers have great part on this song.

Bizarre (Skit) (1.21)
Just a skit were d12 are talking and then they get bizarre to rap. Interesting but nothing really that special.

Bitch (4.56)
Eminem starts of this song and its funny to begin with a funny chorus with Eminem. Bizarre then raps which I though being Bizarre will go over the top but he has a funny part in the middle of his rap were he’s thinking bout food. Kuniva and Kon Artis are doing their little argument-rap in this song like ‘My Band’. A fun song to listen, some girls may not like it because some stuff they say, I myself just see it as a fun song and I’m not offended one bit.

Steve’s coffee House (Skit) (0.51)
Something very different to what we normally here on a rap album. Someone in a coffee house singin purple pills there style, very funny.

D12 World (3.10)
A very fun and interesting song to listen to. Great raps from all rappers.

40 oz (4.02)
Produced by the Trackboyz. I think this is going to be the next single. I like Proof’s rap in this song, that defiantly stands out. It has a great beat, a fun song to listen too.

Commercial Break (1.12)
A very short rap.

American Psycho 2 (Featuring B Real) (3.44)
B Real features in the chorus for this track, a great rap at the end of the song by Eminem who defiantly stood out more then the rest of the rappers on this track.

Bugz 97 (Skit) (1.05)
A verse from a song featuring Bugz, the deceased member of D12. He was murdered before D12 got big. One of the last wishes of Bugz was for Swifty McVeigh to be in D12.
This Bugz verse was short but sweet. Leads up to the next song about Bugz. Has very clever lyrics and a great rap by him.

Good Die Young (5.56)
D-12's subject matter changes here, making for a heartfelt serious track for once. This song is about their friend, rapper Bugz and how important life is. A very interesting rap and all rappers have a great and definitely one of the best tracks on the album. This is about people losing a loved one. Bizarre shows a serious side we have not seen, and all the verses are touching.

Keep Talkin (Bonus Track)(4.28)
A fun song to listen to, with great raps from all rappers. This track was actually on a mixtape before this album.

Cd2
Barbershop (UK bonus track) (4.23)
A very song to listen to which is for the soundtrack for the movie ‘The barbershop 2’. All rappers have a great part in this song.

Slow Your Roll (UK bonus track) (4.25)
A great beat, a great rap from all rappers, very interesting and fun to listen to.
