...The soundtrack to the OC has always been one of the major selling points of the television series. This CD features 12 of the tracks found on the soundtrack of the television series. The CD includes the hugely popular theme song "California" by Phantom Planet as well as other songs from the series. My personal favourites include Alexi Murdoch's "Orange Sky" and the brilliant "We Used To Be Friends" by the Dandy Warhols. The mixture of styles of music makes for a unique CD, and the songs all fit perfectly into the album. This CD is essential for any fan of the television series and the songs will bring back memories of some of the show's most memorable moments. Highly recommended... Read review

...Music from the TV series The Thorn Birds. The TV show was based on the 1977 novel by Colleen McCullough. A best seller at the time and impulsive viewing for ITV viewers in the UK in the early/mid 1980s. The programmes was set on a fictional farm - or "sheep station" in the Australian outback in pre-war days and focussed on the dramas that unfold and develop around the Clearys, a millionaire family. Over the years, various deaths, crises and disasters tell the Cleary family story. The disasters are deaths by fires, drowning and... if my memory serves me correctly, death by pig or wild boar! This CD features 58 tracks from the original Thorn Birds soundtrack. Whereas the music may not help the ladies with the swooning over Richard Chamberlain, as the early 80's hearthrob, the tracks do take you emotion memory back to the programme... Read review

...For anyone who is totally addicted to Doctor Who - this album is for you. If you thought Series 1&2 original sound track was good, then this will blow you away. Murray Gold has excelled himself once again, delivering a soundtrack high in passionate imagination-capturing content that really will take you back to The Doctor and his adventures. The Album begins with All the Strange Strange creatures, which is a compliation of all the generalised music used in many episodes in the series. There are also more episode-specific tracks like Evolution of the Daleks and Boe. But some of these do end sharply (as heard in the TV series) and over lap into some of the more general themes. There is also a track called The Doctor Forever which is done in similar vain to All the Strange, Strange Creatures and covers all the "Doctor" music used... Read review
