Advantages: Great songs, great playing Disadvantages: vocals an acquired taste
...Kevin Ayers has always had a reputation as being one of the great under-achievers of British Rock music. In many ways this is true because although Ayers had the looks, the talent, the rich baritone voice, the laconic charm and the charisma to be a star (Bryan Ferry would have given his right arm to be as naturally stylish as Kev), he never could quite get himself together enough to make the step up from cult figure status. Thing is, Kev didn't seem to care too much anyway. As long as he could afford to indulge his passion for fine wines and soak up the sun in the Med then he was perfectly content.
All of this made for a body of work that varies wildly in style and consistency, but when he was on form Ayers could seduce your ears like few other singer-songwriters.
"Whatevershebringswesing" was his third album since departing...

...He was born in 1913 and died of a heartattack in 1988.
Well, I have been listen to Roy Orbison for many years, and I just want to tell others that he is just the best. the Danish colllection my mom send me, is simply the best. I think that you can hear him anywhere, and that his voice is just great.
When my daddy died of cancer, I was listening to Roy Orbison, some of his songs just got me hanging in there, especially the song" In Dreams " Everyday when I drove home from the hospital crying, I was listening to him, and it maked me wanna go on, maybe it was just, because I needed something, but anyhow, his music is just great and lovely. Advantages: Well worth the money, can watch over and over again Disadvantages: A little bit short on running time
...long. I would have loved to have seen more. Or maybe that’s me just being greedy! However I’m not sure if there was anymore. I believe that the DVD actually has two songs more than the Video version, and that the DVD has and had been re-mastered with enhanced sound.
**Sound**: The sounds on the DVD is available in DTS surround sound, Dolby Digital Stereo & Dolby Digital 5:1 Surround sound. The 5:1 surround sound is excellent. This film really takes full advantage of this possibility, but the DVD is equally enjoyable in ordinary stereo.
**Languages**:
The DVD is in 13 different languages
As for entertainment value, I’ve watch this over and over again. This is a timeless classic. Whether you are a Roy Orbison fan, a fan of any of the other artists, or just enjoy good music, I believe you would be impressed with this...
