Advantages: Interesting & entertaining portrayal of one one of football's real characters Disadvantages: Football movies aren't to everyone's taste, controversial character
for outspokenness and willingness to challenge authority, in addition to his determination and ability to beat all the odds. However, as his powers waned, he unfortunately became a bitter old man, seemingly causing controversy for the sake of it. His comments on the Liverpool fan's involvement in Hillsborough were hurtful beyond measure and were also stupid and wrong and have left a deep impression on many people.
Despite his huge success as a player and manager, the most intriguing period of his career, and the part 'TheDamned United' largely focuses on, is also his least successful; his 44 day spell in charge of the Leeds Utd team.
Leeds Utd were the dominant team of the era, and with long-term manager Don Revie having just left to take the England job, were in search of the best young manager around. Clough may have fitted the bill, but he ...
Advantages: Story, Characters Disadvantages: The depiction of Billy Bremner

appear at The Locarno in Birmingham in 1982. They appeared with *Anti Nowhere League and Charge GBH. Typically Damned, they turned up late and just about averted a riot as most of the crowd thought that they weren't going to show. Captain Sensible strummed his guitar avec yashmak (I love the Capitano); Dave Vanian belted out the songs with his usual graveyard tones; Rat Scabies thrashed the drums; can't remember who was on bass guitar as The D have had so many. I seem to recall The Captain playing Disco Man for "...a bloke at the bar who'd bought him a drink earlier."
So to their this effort - GRAVE DISORDER. Well, what can I say, The Damned are undead, long live The Damned! Aficionados of the band?s
work will be familiar with stuff done during their pomp. Grave Disorder takes a fly by some of it including the immortal: "The Black Album ...
