Advantages: Songs, mix/range of artists Disadvantages: None
...a party. The songs are amazing. You have LMC vs U2 with "Take Me To The Clouds Above". I don't know how to define this song, it's not overdone with synthesizers and effects. You have Ultrabeat's uplifting track "Feelin' Fine", Motorcycle's "As The Rush Comes"(quite a moody and dark tune), Lasgo's "Surrender", Kelly Llorenna's powerful vocals on "This Time I Know It's For Real", Northern Heightz's dancefloor hit "Look At Us", Despina Vandi's sensational and rhythmic "Gia", Tiësto's "Traffic" and Tube & Berger and Chrissie Hynde's collaboration on "Straight Ahead". I believe they've got the right mix of artists on here, providing a variety of styles within the "dance" genre. As always, there are some naff tracks on here from one hit wonders or people you've never heard of, but the balance of these and all the artists & songs listed above makes up...

Advantages: Good tracks, bonus material Disadvantages: A few too many mixes
...Have already rated the previous album (put your hands up vol.1) and many of my points apply to this album aswell. After continually listening to the first album i decided to buy this one aswell and again i was not disappointed.
There is again a brilliant mix of tracks over 3 CD's including several remixes and club mixes such as that of Camille Jonesvs Fedded le Grande-The Creeps (club mix). This i believe to be one of the best but there are 62 other tunes that you will just want to get up and dance to.
Again, as like the previous album there is bonus content on CD1 including 3 awesomw music videos including Fedde Le Grande-Put your hands up and Alex Gaudino-Destination Calabria. This is a really nice touch to the album and makes it a real gem....

Advantages: packed full of hits, some lesser known, as well as a CD of new anthems in the making Disadvantages: Heard them all before? Possibly! But we still love them
...Dave Pearce is a DJ which is synonymous with classic dance as a resulted of his long standing radio show on BBC Radio 1 entitled 'Dance Anthems'. Off the back of this success he has released a long line of classics compilations. This is another installment of what has proved to be a highly successful series. The title my mis-lead, Trance Anthems 2009 may suggest to some that this is 3 CD's of the finest in brand new trance 2009 has had and will have to offer. Unfortunately though this is not really the case. On the other side as you may expect, you have 2 CD's crammed full of all of the usual tracks we've come to know and love/hate (Delete as appropriate) over the last decade. It really is quite hard to believe that some of these tracks are now coming into their 10th year, and perhaps their millionth compilation! Nevertheless, if you are...
