Advantages: Some good remixes and the price
Disadvantages: Not many, some fillers but i suppose you get that with every album

A Girl Part 1 - Usher, Loon & P Diddy. Great chorus and catchy lyrics from usher, definately one for the ladies but a really popular tune. Unfoolish - Ashanti & Notorious BIG. Loads of radio play this one, mixing Biggies old tune, i think the video got more airplay than the original and another cult classic Dance With Me/Peaches And Cream - 112, Ludacris & Beanie Segal. Great mix with the two best tunes from the 112 album. Great r&b club tracks and more cult classics No More Drama - Mary J Blige. Compared to what has come before on this album, the Mary track falls just short. Its a mid tempo track which is just middle of the road So complete - Cherri Dennis. I can basically repeat the same as above, not really much going on Notorious - Lil Kim, Notorious BIG & P Diddy. Nowhere near the original in my opinion but my brother loves it ...

Prepare to dance around!

Advantages: All songs from film, in correct order
Disadvantages: none

Ultimate Dirty Dancing is one of my favourite CD's, boasting all the songs from the film Dirty Dancing, in the order they appear on the screen. It even has the group sing-song, Kellermans Anthem; despite this being perhaps the weak link of the CD, especially if you bought it for musical reasons rather than after watching Dirty Dancing, if you've seen the film no doubt you'll know the words, and find yourself singing along anyway! If you've just watched the film and are in a dancy mood, its perfect to put on and dance to - because, as you see in the film, almost all of the songs are excellent to dance along to. Even if you dont feel like dancing, after listening to this for a while you wont be able to resist, especially if you're home alone, with no witnesses! One track, Shes Like the Wind, is actually sung by Patrick Swayze. Not ...

Review of Dirty Dancing (Ultimate Dirty Dancing) [ECD] - Various Artists

One of the best dance complications out there!

Advantages: Songs, mix/range of artists
Disadvantages: None

I love this CD. The songs may be over five years old now, but I think that they stand the test of time (in my lifetime anyway). The songs released nowadays under the "dance" genre all sound the same with no originality and are all about the same sort of stuff. I'll start off talking about CD One. There is a range of different artists on here including Kylie Minogue, Justin Timberlake, Kelis, Blue, Atomic Kitten & Jamelia. I like how not all of the songs have been remixed and edited, and how most of the songs by the artists are the "originials". I don't like MC Jig's version of the Cha Cha Slide. It lacks the bounciness DJ Casper's had, and it doesn't feel right to try and do the Cha Cha Slide to it either. All in all, the first CD is good but not my favourite. I love CD Two!!
