Advantages: Beautiful architecture, loads to do Disadvantages: Prices rising steadily, fairly expensive accommodation
decorated with fantastic majolica tiles and the spa water gushes out of lion-headed spouts. These baths have a mixed sex thermal pool and there is an outdoor pool for use in summer too. There are baths all over the city but you should do your homework if you plan to visit any of them because some of them have separate bathing times for men and women. If you are hoping for relief from a particular medical complaint you should also read up on the subject because certain baths are recommended for particular conditions.
My favourite place was about 10 kilometres southwest of the city, outside Buda and it is the Szorbopark - the Statue Park. After the fall of the Communists, the great iconic statues of Stalin and Lenin and those commemorating great achievements otr dedicated to the workers of Hungary were all removed from the streets and squares ...

Lake Balaton, Hungary.
"Where the b.hell's that?"
you may enquire. Well look at a map of Hungary and the lake sticks out like a racing dog's ??well let's be polite - its very obvious on the map, It is the largest fresh water lake in Central Europe and is about 48 miles long east to west and between 3-9miles north to south.
What on earth made me decide to write about this place I'm not quite sure, but one thing is sure, I passed it 18 yrs ago and I am presently working about 25 miles away and it has always filled me with curiosity - I knew that the Germans had taken over the lake as their own, even back in 1989 and my very recent visit has confirmed my suspicion that it is now almost a province of the fatherland .
I decided to read previous Ciao reviews, the last I could find was 4 yrs ago, and definitely families enjoyed it ...
Advantages: Banderas, storyline, feel good factor Disadvantages: None
I was pushed into watching this film by my wife when it was on the box the other night and was glad she did as this was a fantastic film which had a real good feel factor to it.
The film is based in a tough school in New York when Pierre Dulaine takes on his biggest test yet as a dance instructor. He sets out to change the ways of troubled teens, set them on the straight and narrow and give them a goal in life. He sets about this adventure when he comes across a highly influenced teen named Rock who is caught smashing up the principle's car. Away goes Pierre, played by Antonio Banderas, who embarks on his one man mission to get these troubled kids to put their detention time to good use and learn how to dance. The storyline is pretty simple with teens from all walks of life who would rather dance to the latest hip hop joints ...
