Dance Mat in December, I rushed out and bought my own one, along with one of the other dance mat games. A couple of months ago I bought Britney's Dance Beat and rushed home to play it. Yes, it was great fun at first, falling about all over the place and even better if you've got your mates round and the wine is flowing. You work up a sweat and if you've really overdone it, your legs might hurt in the morning. However, the novelty soon wore off after discovering that there was only 5 songs, which you play in easy mode to then unlock the full version. And Britney?s voice can get a bit annoying with her ?you can do it?, ?don?t stop ...

Dancing with the devil

Advantages: great read
Disadvantages: none

Apologies in advance as I recently reviewed Private Eyes which is also a book by Jonathan Kellerman that features Alex Delaware and therefore where relevant I have repeated some parts of that review. Devils Waltz is written after Private Eyes. I must also own up to the fact that I'm a big fan of Kellerman, in particular I have enjoyed those novels that feature the character Alex Delaware, a child psychologist who works alongside the LAPD as a consultant and often in the company of Milo Sturgis a homicide detective. I have read many of his books and I consider Devils Waltz to be one of his best due to the great way in which the book plays with your emotions and keeps you on the edge of whatever you are sat upon while reading it. Eat To Blondies Beat

Advantages: Atomic, variety of styles, Debbie's vocals
Disadvantages: a couple of the tracks are rather weird

This was the first Blondie album I bought and after this, I continued to buy their albums and collect memorabilia on Debbie Harry. This began a love of their music, which has lasted over twenty years so far. Eat To The Beat has twelve tracks on it, with the overall style definitely being rock, but there are some beautiful, deep and meaningful songs in here too. Side One begins with Dreaming, which is a song I used to sing with my friends at school. I still remember all the lyrics, although I don't think this song is generally very well-known, especially when compared to some of the great classic songs on here. Union City Blue is the most famous track on Side One, but was never one of my favourites. But the other smash hit on the album is Atomic, which must still rate as a classic, one of Blondie's best songs and a great track ...
