Beyonce's first solo album is amazing, and she has already shown she is an amazing singer by getting lots of famous people to do duets with her.
On this album Beyonce has managed to cover nearly every musical base from dancefloor to soul-ballad means that there is barely a track here with any distinctive identity or even a tune. The lead single from this album has got to be Crazy in Love, and it stayed in the charts for weeks, however other songs such as Naughty Boy and Work It Out also shone out of this album. Lets just hope if she realeases a second album it will be as good as this one.
ALBUM TRACKS
Here are the album tracks and what i think of them:-
1. Crazy In Love (Featuring Jay-Z) = 5/5 I loved this song so much i think that this was a brillant song for Beyonce to sing as it totally suited her. The video for this song was great to and what makes it better is Jay Z is in it.
2. Naughty Girl = 4/5 This song is fab however it has been played to much this video was very sexy and quite naughty.
3. Baby Boy (Featuring Sean Paul) = 5/5 This is another favourite of mine off this album and i love Sean Paul so this song was even better.
4. Hip Hop Star (Featuring Big Boi and Sleepy Brown) = 5/5 I really loved this track it has everyhting you need it's sexy, dirty, fun, kinky and has a kinda rock feel to it
5. Be With You = 3/5 this song is kinda weak and doesnt do Beyonce's voice any justice.
6. Me, Myself and I = 3/5 This is a little similar to be with you it is a very chilled out song.
7. Yes = 2/5 This song wasnt really that good and i was disappointed with it.
8. Signs (Featuring Missy Elliott) = 5/5 this song is about the different star signs and i love Missy's part in the middle really gives something to the song.
9. Speechless = 5/5 There are no words to describe this song Beyonce's voice is amazing in this song and its wonderful.
10. That's How You Like It (Featuring Jay-Z) = 2/5 This track lacked the more factor that the rest of the album had.
11. The Closer I Get To You (Duet with Luther Vandross) = 4/5 Beyonce has such a strong voice in this song and actually listening to it is so nice and relaxing.
12. Dangerously In Love 2 = 4/5 This is based on the Destiny Childs Version however this one is much better.
13. Beyoncé Interlude = 2/5 This isnt a song it is a small speech and im sorry to say i fast forwarded over it.
14. Gift From Virgo = 4/5 I had to listen to this song quite a few times before i actually got used to it ut now its a fav of mine.
15. Work It Out = 5/5 This song is amazing i loved it when it was on the Austin Powers Film Goldmember.
16. Bonnie & Clyde '03 = 5/5 Out of all of the songs on the album this is my favourite and i could listen to it over and over again it is amazing.
