This is Glenn Danzig's third band to date.
This is the first of many releases that Glenn has chosen to release under this band name.
Eerie Von, who was the bassist in Glenn's last band Samhain, continues to work with Glenn on this release and the bassist outdoes himself here, playing to a standard that is far superior to any work that he has done with Samhain.
Glenn's vocals on this release are as powerful as ever, and guitarist John Christ does an excellent job on all 10 tracks on this masterpiece.
The wonderfully named Chuck Biscuits plays drums for this line up, and gives Misfits percussionist Robo a good run for his money, tearing up his skins with viscious and violent intent.

Danzig is a pure dark masterpiece of music that has started out as New Jersey Punk and or Hardcore and has since then gained a world wide base of fans who still can't get enough of this type of music.

Together these musicians bring you a really dark side of music as only Danzig can.
With all 10 songs contained on this release, I can sit back with my eyes shut and enjoy the music and actually picture what Glenn is singing about in the songs. Glenn has always been able to do this to his fans and that's a very good way of getting your message out to your fans, they have to imagine what is going on as the lyrics are being sung. I really do not have any bad thing to say about this cd as it is one of the best cds that I have in my vast collection.
To me this will always be a classic piece of work that Glenn has done that will stand the test of time in the music scene.

I love this cd so much, that I tend to play it at least once a week
and I have not grown tired of hearing it because it's that great.
So, if you are looking to add this to your collection , then by all means feel free to do so as you will not be let down.
However, if this is not your thing then maybe you could recommend this to a fan of this type of music who you know that does not have this great cd in their collection.
