Advantages: Good value unmixed innovative sounds Disadvantages: Not for the "harder" style d&b fans

All tracks on the compilation are well produced and polished. "Wide Eyes" by Marcus Intalex is a really nice venture into d&b electro minimalism; it's really nice to hear fresh tracks like this bringing the music forward. "Heaven Sent" is another one of my favourites, with some beautiful vocals from Robert Manos that accompany the haunting background perfectly. If you liked "Move On" (released on Hospital), then you will love this. As always, each Calibre track is spot on (and there are three); I hate to repeat what others say, but really, you can't go wrong with Calibre! "Deranged" is my personal favourite from him on this compilation with some good use of atmospheric samples flowing through.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this album if you are looking for some smooth, soulful and innovative drum & bass tracks. This album is definitely proof that the music is pushing new boundaries.
For the DJs out there like myself, the CD is unmixed DJ-friendly. If you are after this on vinyl, there are a few different coloured EPs (and some singles) available with most of the tracks.
