Advantages: Interesting characters that do have voices they can use
Disadvantages: More disappointing than a bad attempt

...26 AUGUST 2007, THE DAY THAT CHANGED THEIR LIVES, BUT DID IT CHANGE MUSIC? Day26, named after the date they were formed, were the outcome of the fourth talent search held by P Diddy as part of the 'Making The Band' reality television show. Throughout this review I would like to stray away from the idea that these are just another manufactured group, and therefore I shall get it all out of the way now. Considering the first all-male group the show discovered, 'O-Town', garnered reasonable around the world success, the pressure is really on Day26 as they stray away from the typical pop boyband for a more refreshing five-piece R&B male group - similar to that of female super group Danity Kane, who were discovered on the show. Advantages: A whole range of diverse and brilliant rock albums
Disadvantages: Some of the tracks are perhaps a tad too similar

...to this one. Track 9: Watch Your Words (5.26 minutes) A very unusual, distorted sound sees the beginning of this track. This is one of the harder, rockier songs that 'One Day Remains' has to offer. This comes now under your typical Alter Bridge track. Marks out of 10: 8 - Myles' vocals are particularly good in this one. Track 10: Shed My Skin (5.08 minutes) Possibly a track that doesn't get as much credit as it should. 'Shed My Skin' sounds, to me, like an awesome live track; reflective without being depressing yet rocky without lacking meaning. Marks out of 10: 9.5 - The lyrics are powerful and get stuck in your head - one of the albums amazing gems. Track 11: The End Is Here (4.58 minutes) Aptly titled and aptly played. Perhaps not one of the most memorable tracks but one that you certainly should listen to as the band are craftsmen... Read review

Advantages: lovely music
Disadvantages: not around anymore

...It’s a beautiful day so what better Album to review than It’s a beautiful day by it’s a beautiful day. Sadly I do not have this on C D and am too lazy to look upstairs to see if we still own the L P. But trawling through the music listings I notice this category and now as I sit here the song the tune and words to white bird are going through my head, so let me tell you all I know and remember about it’s a beautiful day. The cover album a beautiful day sky blue with white fluffy clouds rolling past with a woman standing on a rock her skirt gently blowing in the wind.. George Hunter one of the original Charlatans painted this album cover.
