After what had come before I was slightly dissapointed with this album. After the masterpiece that was 'The Memory of Trees' I was expecting a similar album. The first thing that struck me is the overall length. Coming in at just under 40 minutes it is Enya's shortest album to date (disregarding the original 1987 BBC soundtrack CD 'The Celts' which comes in a couple of minutes shorter) There is also a less unique feel to the album and a more general pop orientated sound. Standout tracks for me are 'Flora's Secret', 'One by One' and 'Lazy Days'. The instrumental 'Silver Inches' is also pleasant but at a mere 1 minute 37 seconds it could have been much more. I bought this album as I am a die-hard Enya fan and will buy anything she releases. People who have just discovered her music are better off buying one of her earlier albums or her best of album. These will give you a feel of the music Enya is truly capable of. Having said that Enya is still and always will be one of my favourite artists and the music she releases will always be a cut above a lot of the other stuff that is out there.

Advantages: If you hadn't heard her before, you would enjoy her soothing vocals and relaxing tunes. Heals the heart, cultivates the soul. Disadvantages: For those who know Enya well enough, the album can be a disappointment as she has offered nothing new. Her faster tunes are missing the magic of Orinoco Flow and Anywhere Is.
Advantages: Everything we have come to expect from an Enya album, technically flawless Disadvantages: After 12 years, it's losing its appeal. More invention needed. The pristine production now seems more cloying than ever. And it's only 37 minutes long (including FOUR instrumentals)
