Advantages: Rock and Roll Damnation Disadvantages: Gimme a Bullet
...This is a good CD and one that I enjoy. Contains great songs and my favourites on this CD - such as Rock and Roll Damnation, Riff Raff, Sin City, Whats Next To The Moon and Kicked In The Teeth. This isn't my favourite AC/DC album but its still an enjoyable rocking album. When I first listened to this I thought it was poor but the more I listened to it the more I enjoyed it and loved some of the songs. The songs I menitioned above are in my top play list but the others wouldn't be. But when listening to AC/DC its still songs that I won't skip unlike some othe songs from other albums. There's no rubbish songs here and AC/DC fans will enjoy this CD....

Advantages: classic album from classic rock band Disadvantages: none!
...This is the 3rd studio album by Motorhead (or 4th if you count the later released but earlier recorded 'On Parole' set.) It's the second release by the so called 'classic' line up of Lemmy, Fast Eddie Clarke and Phil Taylor. By this release the Motorhead sound was set, with Lemmy's thundering bass and growling vocals, Phil Taylor's manic and powerful drumming, and topped with Eddie Clarke's brilliant riffing and lead guitar work. All of which together made for a huge noise from just three band members. Loudest band in the world is what they were called back then, and that wasn't far from the truth if you were lucky enough to catch them live in those early days. So, what about the songs? This is a double cd digipak, so on cd 1 you get the original album, from the brilliant opener "Dead Men Tell No Tales" through to the final classic title...

Advantages: A solid album of approachable, high-energy hard rock. Disadvantages: Nothing too innovative or spectacular, but that's sort of the point.
...traditional and highly energised rock singing than the irritating gargly warbling of his more famous successor, who my friend Dan ingeniously and accurately described as sounding like he's gargling with a throatful of those hard chip-ends you get at the bottom of the bag. Thankfully, there's none of that here, and Scott is free to dance around the repeating instruments to convey tales of broken relationships, drug overdoses, life on the road and escapism through alcohol. Rock 'n' roll.
1. Rock 'n' Roll Damnation
2. Down Payment Blues
3. Gimme a Bullet
4. Riff Raff
5. Sin City
6. What's Next to the Moon
7. Gone Shootin'
8. Up to My Neck in You
9. Kicked in the Teeth
Despite the repetitive sound, which took some getting used to now I've grown accustomed to more experimental works, this album boasts a reasonable variety of songs, from short...
