...a range of songs from the varying artists on the album. From slow beats such as the excellent Dear Mama in which 2Pac expresses his feelings about his mother against backing hip hop vocals to up-tempo, club suitable tracks like the G era classic Nothin’ But A G Thang and SnoopDogg’s Who Am I lifted from the Doggy Style LP. The songs sound as fresh and relevant now as they did years ago when they we first released and the theme throughout the album is Gangster Rap, the rap that DeathRow has claimed throughout its existence.
The collaborations on the album are second to none. DrDre and Ice Cube’s Natural Born Killaz is a gem and proves that DeathRow still has it. And although DeathRow was greatly know for its breakthrough in the rap charts it also had several R ‘n’ B artists on the label. Jodeci’s and Danny Boy’s soothing vocal tones...

Advantages: enimem and xzibit (snoop tries) Disadvantages: most of the songs
...what was dre thinking,he is a great producer(well he was during the deathrow days and late nwa dayz)but what has he done,2001 is painfully bad if you are a rap fan. drdre raps about compton (california suburd where the so called ghetto is) but he cant go back due to those persisting rumours that he is gay. 2pac and suge knight kicked drdre off the most sucessful rap empire ever (deathrow records) but with the immedite release of suge knight from prison i see some changes in the rap game.
drdre can produce but this album is nothing like his first solo album also know as the chronic.eminem brings a bit of balance to this album and xzibit shows his skill but dre fell off big time.he will never be as good as he was and nowere near as good as 2pac was,i feel dre needs to keep eminem and xzibit fresh as deathrow is coming back FAST.......
