I?ve complained before to all the good people on Ciao about not being much of a fan of Melbourne. It?s just one of those cities that doesn?t grab me. There is a local tension between Sydney people and Melbourne people, each side saying their city is the best and it?s true that Melbourne was once voted the most liveable city in the world. Although it?s got many things going for it, it?s just not for me. It was with some reluctance then that I spent a few days there last week for work. On Thursday night I had a colleague with me so when we?d finished the daily drudge of meetings we thought we?d have a night on the town. Deep breath!

this song is slower and more subtle than the others. A piano is the main partner to Lucy's voice in this song, they compliment each other. Breath In - Track Five - Title Track. This is the reason I bought this album. I often buy albums on the strength of one track and I am often disappointed - not this time. It's catchy, has a good beat and a great tune. Definitely one for the car. The chorus has you singing along as soon as you hear it. A wonderful track and a brilliant single. Nothing Else Matters - Track Six. Originally done a few years ago by Metallica this track is wonderful. It says everything the original meant it to but in a whole new way. It really makes you believe that nothing else does matter. A Crowning Former Glory

Disadvantages: not much of the original potteries left

I've known of the Crown Hotel in Longton all my life, and have visited it on many occasions, As a young drinker in my late teens, the Crown as we called it, was the place to go. They used to have a back room where a local group named Poser would do tribute gigs to such great bands as Thin Lizzy. Alas them days are long gone now, and the back room is mainly used for wedding receptions etc. I have always liked the Crown Hotel, and found that no matter who has run the establishment , They have always run it in a warm friendly inviting way as such a place deserves. The Hotel as far as I am aware dates from the mid Victorian period and is quite an imposing building, which may not seem very welcoming to those with children, in my opinion it is definitely more of an adult orientated hotel, e.g.: couples or business people wanting ...
