The Knife: Deep Cuts (Album Review)

Advantages: Original, Breakthrough, Heartbeats.
Disadvantages: Like Marmite.

Swedish duo, 'The Knife' have been a massive inspiration for so many bands since their formation in 1999. Deep Cuts was their second album, released in 2003 and the most astonishing thing about it is its originality. The Knife adhere to no rules, and with Deep Cuts, as with all their albums you embark upon a journey which is immensely enjoyable from beginning to end. There is something haunting, fascinating and appealing about lead singer Karin Anderssons voice. It sounds as strange and different as the backing music which is generally electronica, but with odd twists such as throwing in some steel drums occasionally, particulaly in the second track 'pass this on'. Easy and cheap cut at home

Advantages: even easy cut, good value for money
Disadvantages: none to report yet

I got this for my partner because, quite frankly, I was sick of him stealing the scissors and my razors at home! This clipper is a good product and I would always reccomend something from the babyliss range - call me a sucker for brands but I have never had a problem with the make when buying products before. The overall appearance isn't the typical appearance to clippers, at least not ones I've seen before but just like it says on the tin my partner found them easy to use and hold. Straight from the box the clippers use "Unique circular blade technology for multi directional cutting" which seem to make a massive differents than a pair of scissors giving the cut a nice and even appearance. Sexy and deep

Advantages: smells gorgeous

I just finished my bottle of Hugo Boss Deep Red perfume today so I decided I should write a review about it. Someone bought me the perfume last year either for my birthday or Christmas and it was part of a gift set. If I can remember correctly the whole set was in a large square shaped box, which was mainly red in colour with a picture of the bottle of perfume on the front of it and Hugo written in large bold white lettering. The packaging design was really plain and simple but I didn't care because I had a new fragrance to add to my continuously growing collection. Usually when I choose a perfume for myself I tend to pick ones which have nice bottles or packaging because usually if the packaging and bottle is nice then the perfume smells really nice too.
