Deep Cuts Fast Remedies - Snowdogs

...Swedish duo, 'The Knife' have been a massive inspiration for so many bands since their formation in 1999. Deep Cuts was their second album, released in 2003 and the most astonishing thing about it is its originality. The Knife adhere to no rules, and with Deep Cuts, as with all their albums you embark upon a journey which is immensely enjoyable from beginning to end. There is something haunting, fascinating and appealing about lead singer Karin Anderssons voice. It sounds as strange and different as the backing music which is generally electronica, but with odd twists such as throwing in some steel drums occasionally, particulaly in the second track 'pass this on'. Advantages: Very funny, enjoyable melodrama

...Desperate Remedies was written in response to publishers who rejected Thomas Hardy?s first novel, a socio-political story called The Poor Man and The Lady (which was never published and the manuscript was later destroyed by Hardy; a great pity), who wanted a more sensationalist story without the political overtones. The result, although not considered one of Hardy?s best works, is a delightful Victorian melodrama that?s extremely entertaining. The prose is poetic, as in Hardy?s later novels, and the descriptions of nature and landscape are particularly evocative, although not quite a polished as later novels. I found it a joy to read and it?s certainly better than most writers? best works. Advantages: smells gorgeous

...I just finished my bottle of Hugo Boss Deep Red perfume today so I decided I should write a review about it. Someone bought me the perfume last year either for my birthday or Christmas and it was part of a gift set. If I can remember correctly the whole set was in a large square shaped box, which was mainly red in colour with a picture of the bottle of perfume on the front of it and Hugo written in large bold white lettering. The packaging design was really plain and simple but I didn't care because I had a new fragrance to add to my continuously growing collection. Usually when I choose a perfume for myself I tend to pick ones which have nice bottles or packaging because usually if the packaging and bottle is nice then the perfume smells really nice too.
