...Swedish duo, 'The Knife' have been a massive inspiration for so many bands since their formation in 1999.
DeepCuts was their second album, released in 2003 and the most astonishing thing about it is its originality. The Knife adhere to no rules, and with DeepCuts, as with all their albums you embark upon a journey which is immensely enjoyable from beginning to end.
There is something haunting, fascinating and appealing about lead singer Karin Anderssons voice. It sounds as strange and different as the backing music which is generally electronica, but with odd twists such as throwing in some steel drums occasionally, particulaly in the second track 'pass this on'.
DeepCuts is off course best known for the song 'Heartbeats'. It recieved more attention after having been covered acousticly by Jose Gonzalez, however as any Knife...

...?Signature? was released in 2009 and dropped as the eighth album from the R&B singer Joe Thomas (although known mononymously as Joe). The crooner first hit it big with the new Jack Swing jam ?I?m In Luv? back in 1993 and was known mostly for his such as ?Stutter?, ?All The Things? and ?I Wanna Know? through the nineties and into the ?00s. ...Toni & Guy
I have visited a few of Toni & Guy salons, so I now feel that I can write this review.
In 1963 Toni & Guy first salon opened in Clapham London. From there on in, there was no stopping them, nearly every big town has one. If I am correct they also have or are expanding abroad.
If you have visited 1 or more Toni & Guy salon?s you will notice that they are all the same, from the chairs to the sinks, the walls to the floor. Each salon is identical, being the inside.
They have a uniform of Black and White. Black bottoms with a White top, they do have their own logo t-shirts in which some staff do wear.
The salons I have visited ?
Chichester in West Sussex, owned by a man called Jeff.
Basildon in Essex, owned by a man called Billy. This opened in August 1999. Billy is sponsoring Miss Essex at the moment...
