Mystic River is an adaptation of a novel by Dennis Lehane a dark mystery thriller with a less than Hollywood ending. The screenplay by Brian Helgeland is well-crafted and Clint Eastwood directs with an easy morose pace that?s guaranteed to grip the audience and depress the mood. The haunting background music was also written by Eastwood.
The story takes place in a Boston suburb. Three young boys Jimmy, Sean and Dave are playing in the street and decide to write their names in some freshly laid cement. A man claiming to be a detective interrogates the boys and makes Dave Boyle get into his car. The subsequent events scar the boy for life. It is 30years later as adults when the three boy?s destinies are once more entangled that the film examines the effects of this event on the lives of them all.

Advantages: A whole new perspective on London Disadvantages: More time consuming
When my dad came to stay for the weekend recently, he was dead keen to take a boat trip on the Thames. In the end, we booked a hop-on hop-off day ticket with City Cruises and had a great day out. This got me wondering whether it would be possible to see London entirely by boat. After a little research, I've decided that it's definitely do-able and here's how I'd go about it.

There are many different sorts of set ups as you walk around. I personally found the Endless Ocean tank the most impressive. It holds 2.5 million litres of water, 87 tonnes of salt. You get lots of different views of this tank as you walk around.
